By accessing or using Point Dexter at pointdexter.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our service.

Description of Service

Point Dexter is a collaborative story point estimation platform designed for agile teams. Our service enables real-time collaborative voting, JIRA integration, session management, and team collaboration features.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or security breaches
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You may also join sessions as a guest without creating an account, subject to these same terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Point Dexter to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Share session links with malicious intent or spam

Subscriptions and Billing

Point Dexter offers free and paid subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Basic features with limited session history and storage.
• Pro Plan: Enhanced features including extended data retention, bulk exports, and priority support.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access until the end of your billing period.

Refunds

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase to discuss a refund.

Intellectual Property

The Point Dexter service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your session data and content remain yours.

Third-Party Integrations

Point Dexter integrates with third-party services such as Atlassian/JIRA. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Point Dexter is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Point Dexter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting an update on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
